BOBP is designed to measure the performance of 50 securities selected from the U.S. large-cap universe using CORE16's proprietary algorithm.
The BOBP ETF tracks the CORE16 Best of Breed Premier Index, a systematic index built to identify optimal buying and selling points within U.S. large-cap equities. The ETF seeks to track the Index, which aims to identify 50 securities with favorable near- to medium-term capital appreciation potential based on their equity skewness. Equity skewness measures how a stock's returns are distributed to describe if returns are more likely to be higher or lower than an average return.
"We are excited to partner with CORE16 to bring the CORE16 Best of Breed Premier Index ETF (BOBP) to the U.S. market," says J. Garrett Stevens CEO of Exchange Traded Concepts. "This launch represents an exciting expansion of CORE16's presence in the U.S. with an ETF that incorporates CORE16's Best of Breed methodology. We are committed to helping innovative investment strategies reach new investors, and we're proud to support the introduction of BOBP."
"With great enthusiasm, we announce the introduction of the CORE16 Best of Breed Premier Index ETF (BOBP) to the U.S. market. This initiative presents an opportunity to provide U.S. investors with a rules-based index that adjusts its composition in response to market indicators and conditions. We extend our gratitude to Exchange Traded Concepts for facilitating the listing of this ETF on the NYSE Arca platform," said David Cho (Cho Yun Nam, CFA), CEO of Core16 and former Chairman of the CFA Korea Association.
