2023 Exchange ETF Conference: ETC’s Top 5 Takeaways

February 27, 2023 EST

The growth of ETFs was apparent in Miami Beach at the Exchange ETF Conference where thousands gathered for a sizzling networking experience.

The Exchange ETF Conference brings together some of the sharpest, most creative minds in the world of finance each year to share knowledge and prepare for the next decade of ETF innovation and growth. This year was no different as ETC’s Jay Baker and Garrett Stevens disembarked on a Miami adventure that radiated the energy of a trading floor in the early 90s.

This year’s conference was focused on more in-depth conversations, and ETC was not disappointed. Garrett and Jay share their top takeaways from strolling through the lobby of the Fontainebleau.

Top 5 Takeaways from EXCHANGE 2023

  1. ETFs are finding their way into portfolios of all sizes.

  2. 30 years after the launch of SPY, ETFs still offer a practical solution, whether advisors use them to complement or convert their strategies.

  3. ETFs are becoming “the investment vehicle” of choice because of their low costs and tax efficiency.

  4. ETFs could be missing major opportunities with their fund marketing.

  5. The networking was top-notch. Deal-making, old friends, tons of follow-up meetings.

All in all, Exchange was the gift that keeps on giving and was worthwhile as an attendee. There were a fair amount of beer gardens, lots of networking – and if you were ready to really mingle, the Fontainebleau lobby was a bustling energy to experience.
