J. Garrett Stevens

President, Interested Trustee

J. Garrett Stevens is the Chief Executive Officer of Exchange Traded Concepts, LLC where he oversees and is actively involved in the firm’s daily operations. He is also CEO of Exchange Traded Concepts Trust and holds the position of Chairman of ETC’s Executive Committee. Prior to the ETC endeavor, Mr. Stevens founded FaithShares in 2009 where he served as CEO, launching the first family of faith-based ETFs in the marketplace. Stevens began his professional career in 2000 as a stock broker and investment advisor at T.S. Phillips Investments, Inc. serving as vice president. Mr. Stevens is becoming a nationally recognized ETF specialist and has appeared in a wide variety of financial media outlets such as CNBC, Bloomberg, Index Universe and the Wall Street Journal. An Oklahoma native, Garrett holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University.

Timothy J. Jacoby

Independent Trustee

Timothy J. Jacoby is a retired partner from the Deloitte & Touche Investment Management practice having served many of Deloitte’s premier clients. Tim has over 35 years of combined public accounting and industry experience bringing a unique blend of investment management advisory experience, as well as hands-on involvement with the day-to-day challenges of leading investment management businesses. Prior to Deloitte Tim was CFO and Senior Vice President of Liberty Financial’s asset management business and had been a Senior Vice President at Fidelity Investments and a former partner at EY and its predecessor entities. Tim was a 10-year member (three as chair) of the Investment Company Institute’s Accounting/Treasurers Committee and served on the American Institute of CPA’s Investment Companies Committee that revised the Investment Companies Audit and Accounting Guide. Tim holds MBA and Bachelor’s degrees from State University of New York at Buffalo.

Stuart Strauss

Independent Trustee

Stuart Strauss is a retired partner from the international law firm, Dechert LLP, where he specialized in the representation of investment companies, investment advisers and independent directors of investment companies. Mr. Strauss has a particular expertise in the area of exchange traded funds and has been involved in the ETF industry almost since its inception. He has represented a multitude of ETF sponsors and ETF complexes and has been instrumental in developing unique ETF products and in obtaining innovative exemptive relief for ETF sponsors , including the first exemptive order authorizing an actively managed ETF. Mr. Strauss is a frequent speaker at ETF industry conferences and has written extensively on ETF matters for industry trade journals and more scholarly publications. Mr. Strauss has been recognized by Chambers USA and the Legal 500 as a leading lawyer in investment management and is listed in the Best Lawyers in America for mutual funds law. Mr. Strauss graduated from the University of Pennsylvania”s Wharton School and received a JD from St John’s University and an LLM in taxation from Georgetown University.

Linda Petrone

Independent Trustee

Linda Petrone is the Founding Partner of Sage Search Advisors, a search firm focused on hiring both investment talent at all levels as well as C-Suite business managers for hedge funds, private equity firms and investment banks.Linda’s career includes fourteen years at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director in the Equity Derivatives Group. During her tenure at GS, her responsibilities included trading single stock options, selling derivatives to a wide variety of institutional clients and managing the derivative sales team for North America. In addition, she built and led a derivative strategy team that leveraged equity research to generate and publish trading ideas for the institutional client base. In 2004, Linda joined UBS as a Managing Director, co-managing the Prime Brokerage Sales effort for the Americas within the Prime Services Group. There she cultivated relationships, initiated new business and led the accounts of several of the firm’s most important hedge fund clients. After her departure from UBS in 2008, she joined SAC Capital as a Derivative Strategist to work with the Equity Long/Short Portfolio Managers. She identified opportunities in the options markets and executed trades on behalf of the various portfolios. She departed from SAC in June 2012 to launch her career as an executive recruiter. Linda graduated with an MBA in Finance from Columbia University and as Phi Beta Kappa, with a BA in Economics from Emory University.

Mark A. Zurack

Independent Trustee

Mark A. Zurack retired from Goldman Sachs at the end of 2001 after an 18-year career. He is currently a Professor, teaching at both Columbia Business School and Cornell University. Professor Zurack joined Goldman Sachs in 1983 and started the equity derivatives research group. He later assumed a broader leadership role in equity derivatives, comanaging the product in both North America and Asia and leading the effort to cross-market equity derivatives products to high-net-worth individuals. He became a Partner in 1994 and a Managing Director in 1996. Between 1998 and 2001, Professor Zurack served on the Board of Directors at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. He received his CFA in 1983, his MBA from Cornell University in 1980 and his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1978.


Jay Baker

Treasurer

Mr. Baker joined Exchange Traded Concepts (“ETC”) in September 2011 and serves as Director of Capital Markets, focusing primarily on new Business Development. Jay played a lead role in the creation and successful launch of the Yorkville products - one of which being the first ETF launched on ETC’s platform in 2012 - which was acquired by Van Eck in early 2016.

Prior to his partnership with ETC, Jay spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Vice President of ETF Business Development for their Electronic ETF Trading Group. Jay previously worked at the American Stock Exchange in the ETF and Options department and was involved with marketing of the SPDR, the first ETF launched in the United States. The SPDR trades 200 million shares a day and has approximately $200 billion in AUM.

Jay graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA and received an MBA in Finance from Pace University.


Richard R. Hogan

Secretary

Richard R. Hogan began his professional career as an Independent Options Trader on the floors of the New York Stock Exchange and American Stock Exchange and was recruited by Spear, Leeds & Kellogg (“SLK”) as a Specialist in early 1987, later becoming a Limited Partner and a Managing Director in 1992. As Managing Director of the Index Derivatives Group, Rich established trading operations and nurtured Exchange Traded Funds (“ETFs”) as a Specialist in SPDRs, WEBS, Sector SPDRs, iShares and other ETFs. Rich worked closely with Exchange staff, issuers, index providers and others in conceiving, designing, developing, launching, marketing and trading new ETFs. Notably, he championed the idea of a fixed income ETF. In 2000, Rich became a Managing Director of Goldman Sachs when SLK was merged and has been actively managing his own portfolio since 2002. Rich was a Founder and Managing Member of Yorkville ETF Advisors, a sponsor of the Yorkville exchange traded funds, which were acquired by Van Eck in early 2016. He graduated from Villanova University in 1983 with a degree in Bachelor of Arts, Honors.
